Introduction to Tallixis
Tallixis is a platform LowCode that lets companies create custom business applications without complex development. You define your modules, data and business rules from an intuitive graphical interface.
This documentation covers Tallixis version 3.x. If you use an earlier version, see the documentation archive.
Key concepts
Module — A business entity (e.g. Customer, Order, Employee) with its fields and views.
View — The way to display a module's data: list, form, Kanban, calendar…
Workflow — An automated process triggered by events (creation, modification, approval…).
Application — A grouping of modules that form a coherent solution.
Studio — The platform's configuration and customization interface.
Architecture
Tallixis is hosted as SaaS on dedicated servers. Each customer has their own isolated instance, accessible via a custom subdomain (votreentreprise.tallixis.com).
Create your first application in 5 steps. Estimated time: 30 minutes.
Create your account Go to tallixis.com/try and fill in your information. Your instance is provisioned in less than 2 minutes.
Open Studio From your dashboard, click Studio in the navigation bar. Studio is your configuration area.
Create your first module In Studio, go to Modules → New module. Donnez-lui un nom, une icône et définissez vos champs.
Configure views Choose the views to enable (list, form, Kanban…) and customize the displayed columns and fields.
Invite your team Go to System → Users and invite your colleagues by email. Assign them suitable roles.
Publish and install modules
A package exported from Studio is uploaded to your customer area, reviewed by an administrator, then published on the Market Space with a trust level. Each installation verifies the file's fingerprint and signature.
Tip: start by installing a module from the Market Space to quickly see what Tallixis can do.
Modules & Fields
One module represents an entity of your data model. It consists of typed fields, views, security rules and workflows.
Available field types
Text — Short text, long text, email, URL, phone
Digital — Integer, decimal, percentage, currency
Date — Date, datetime, durée
Selection — Dropdown, multi-select, radio
Relation — Many2one, One2many, Many2many
File — Image, document, attachment
Create a module
Studio → Modules → [ + Nouveau module ]

The module name is used as a technical key. Avoid special characters and spaces.
REST API
Tallixis exposes a complete REST API for each module. Authentication is done via an API key or a JWT token.

Views & Display
Each module can have several views. Tallixis offers 7 view types: List, Form, Kanban, Calendar, Planning, Pivot et Statistics.
List view
Displays records as a table. Configure visible columns, their order and width. Filters, search and sorting available.
Form view
Displays the details of a record. Organize fields into groups, tabs and sections. Define required fields and their conditional visibility.
Kanban view
Displays records by column based on a status field. Drag and drop to change status. Customizable columns, colors and indicators.
Installation
Tallixis is available in SaaS (managed hosting) or On-Premise (on your servers). SaaS mode requires no installation — your instance is ready in 2 minutes.
On-Premise prerequisites
PHP 8.1+ with extensions: PDO, mbstring, curl, zip
MySQL 8.0+ or PostgreSQL 14+
Nginx or Apache with mod_rewrite
2 GB RAM minimum (4 GB recommended)

Users & Roles
Tallixis offers a granular RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) system. Define roles with permissions per module, view and field.

View : Access to specific views
Field : Read-only, Write, Hidden
Security
Tallixis implements security best practices: forced HTTPS, CSRF protection, XSS filtering, rate limiting and a complete audit trail.

Backups
In SaaS mode, your data is backed up automatically every 6 hours with 30-day retention. Backups are encrypted and stored in several geographic zones.

Webhooks
Webhooks let Tallixis send HTTP notifications to external services on events.
